With a genuine love for teaching, she is an active mentor and teacher in the emerging New York City tech and entrepreneurial education community. She is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Columbia Business School, and is a founding instructor at General Assembly where she teaches digital insights, brand strategy, community management, and agile marketing.
Lauren has also contributed to CMX, Forbes, Inc., co-authored “An Entrepreneurial Approach to Corporate Innovation” in the book Smarter Innovation (Ark Group, 2014), and has been featured in US News, Mashable, Business Insider and Huffington Post. Lauren’s early days as a competitive swimmer taught her that “Attitude is Everything!” This became, and still is, her personal mantra. Her continued passion for fitness informs her performance driven approach to business and life. Her community building style, however, was born from the values of her lively, loving Italian-American family.
